Mental Performance Coach
Joe Goodreau
Biography
About Joe Goodreau
Joe Goodreau created the Mindset Readiness Training (MRT) system after seeing the same challenge repeatedly: talented athletes who trained hard, cared deeply, and wanted to succeed, but had no real process for developing the mental side of performance.
At Peak Football Academy, Joe works primarily with U16 to U19 players pursuing college soccer opportunities, while also helping younger athletes build the foundations early. His coaching develops confidence, focus, emotional control, breathing habits, resilience, and the ability to recover quickly after mistakes.
Joe also works with NCAA teams and student-athletes, helping players perform more consistently when pressure rises and competition increases.
Before entering athlete development, Joe spent more than 15 years leading high-performing teams in executive roles, including Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He built cultures where accountability, growth, and sustained performance were expected standards.
He holds his Mental Performance Mastery Level 2 certification and is completing his degree in Sport and Performance Psychology at Grand Canyon University.
A lifelong athlete, ultra-endurance competitor, and father of competitive athletes, Joe teaches the principles he lives every day.
Talent creates chances. Mindset converts them.
